H&M - Leather Mini Skirt

It is a goal of mine to try to incorporate more leather into my wardrobe. One of my first item of clothing made out of leather is a mini skirt that I purchased from H&M. Actually, it is fake leather, which probably contradicts this post. I will therefore correct myself now and say I am really trying to incorporate more leather albeit fake or real into my style. I decided to buy a fake leather skirt because I already know I would not be wearing it as often as I would with leather shoes. Anyhow I really love that this mini skirt is grey and that it costs less than an actual leather skirt.

Heritage 1981 - Floral Print Dress

I love wearing prints. In this blog, I am sure you have realized I have a soft spot for floral prints. I know this is cliché, but floral works really well in the spring. On the contrary, many designers are taking risks and designing floral for all seasons. I bought this dress once again from Forever 21. (What can I say, I love a bargain!) I love the shades they used for the colours red and yellow. I cannot wait to sport this dress in warmer climates...especially on a beach.

Dior - Miss Dior Chérie L'Eau Perfume

Finding a new perfume is very challenging. There are too many options and most of the time they smell very strong or overwhelming. On the contrary, "to each his own". With that being said, Miss Dior Chérie by Dior is a timeless classic. There are three different versions of this perfume and I am sure many people do not realize that. The first one is the original. The perfume resembles the colour yellow and it is called Miss Dior Chérie Eau de Perfume. I have to admit this perfume is very musky. The next version is Miss Dior Chérie Eau de Toilette in the light pink colour. Just like the original, this perfume is very overbearing. The last version is Miss Dior Chérie L'Eau. This perfume is light green in colour and quite delightful. I purchased this one because it was the only one that had a fresh smell. It was light and simple. However, the one thing I love about all three Miss Dior Chéries, is the perfume bottle and packaging. It takes a simple rectangular shape as the bottle with a lid accompanied by a bow. It is very elegant and classy, which is probably one reason why this perfume has stuck around...

Forever 21 - Multicoloured Polka Dot Dress

I am a huge fan of online shopping. I live for finding sales online. It is even better when shipping is free or reduced. However most of the time, I do not care about shipping fees. If I really want to purchase something I get it, which brings me to my most recent online purchase from Forever 21. Last year, I saw a dress online and wanted it so badly. This dress was a multicoloured polka dot dress, but it was unfortunately sold out in my size. So I had no choice, but to find this dress in the various Forever 21 locations around my city. My search however, was also unsuccessful. Then about a month ago I was aimlessly on the Forever 21 website and long and behold, the dress I wanted was re-stocked!!! So, of course I got my credit card immediately and made my purchase!!! You see, that is one great thing about online shopping. Most of the time you have more options than in stores.

H&M - Graphic T-shirt

Who does not love wearing a t-shirt? I love wearing plain tees to graphic tees. I actually have a collection of graphic t-shirts. They vary in design and logos, but I bought all of them around the premises of thinking they were cute or funny. Yes, that is correct; the adjectives cute and funny are what I think about when I buy graphic t-shirts. With that being said, I recently purchased one from H&M for $7 dollars. Awesome right? I couldn't resist the velvet material the graphics were made out of. Heck, two poodles as the graphics were like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. Nothing beats two poodles...

2010 Shopaholic Cupcake Review

In my previous post I asked you bloggers "What was your most "fashionable" purchase in 2010?". For me, my first DSLR whom I appropriately named "Brie", was by far the best thing I purchased in 2010. More specifically, my Canon Rebel XSi. I wanted an DSLR for a long time, but being a university student I had to spend my money elsewhere. So when I graduated in June 2010, I treated myself to a new camera! This is my most "fashionable" purchase because it encourages my creativity. As you can see in ever post in this blog, I have photos of a new purchased item. I would not have any great quality pictures without my camera; unless of course I used my old school point and shoot or my iphone. So please bear with me if my pictures are not that great. I'm still learning and I'm still new to the DSLR world! Life is always a learning process...lol.

Anyways, je vous souhaite une bonne et heureuse année! In other words, I wish you a happy new year! All the best!
